Parent Coaching and Support
Dr. Ulrich works directly with parents to help them understand their child's functioning and identify the best strategies for parents to use to support their children's growth and development.
Parents participate in an initial assessment appointment so that Dr. Ulrich gain an thorough understanding of the child and family's functioning. Education will be provided as needed about child development, brain development, attachment, and any other issues relevant to the family. Direct strategies and coaching will assist parents in developing the skills needed for THEM to support their children.
Parents have the option of meeting for traditional 50 minute appointments or to select a parenting support plan that allows for ongoing, real time support.
